Saunders-blue \Saun"ders-blue`\, n. [Corrupted fr. F. cendres
   bleues blue ashes.]
   A kind of color prepared from calcined lapis lazuli;
   ultramarine; also, a blue prepared from carbonate of copper.
   [Written also {sanders-blue}.]
