Furrow \Fur"row\, n. [OE. forow, forgh, furgh, AS. furh; akin to
   D. voor, OHG. furuh, G. furche, Dan. fure, Sw. f?ra, Icel.
   for drain, L. porca ridge between two furrows.]
   1. A trench in the earth made by, or as by, a plow.

   2. Any trench, channel, or groove, as in wood or metal; a
      wrinkle on the face; as, the furrows of age.

   {Farrow weed} a weed which grows on plowed land. --Shak.

   {To draw a straight furrow}, to live correctly; not to
      deviate from the right line of duty. --Lowell.
