1. To tread to measure or music; to dance; to trip; to skip.

Footed \Foot"ed\, a.
1. Having a foot or feet; shaped in the foot. ``Footed like a
goat.'' --Grew.
Note: Footed is often used in composition in the sense of
having (such or so many) feet; as, fourfooted beasts.
2. Having a foothold; established.
