   from {Flog}, v. t.

   {Flogging chisel} (Mach.), a large cold chisel, used in
      chipping castings.

   {Flogging hammer}, a small sledge hammer used for striking a
      flogging chisel.

Flog \Flog\ (fl[o^]g), v. t. [imp. & p. p. {Flogged} (fl[o^]gd);
   p. pr. & vb. n. {Flogging} (-g[i^]ng).] [Cf. Scot. fleg blow,
