Dabble \Dab"ble\, v. t. [imp. & p. p. {Dabbled}; p. pr. & vb. n.

   To wet by little dips or strokes; to spatter; to sprinkle; to
   moisten; to wet. ``Bright hair dabbled in blood.'' --Shak.
