   swim, float; akin to D. vlieten to flow, OS. fliotan, OHG.
   fliozzan, G. fliessen, Icel. flj[=o]ta to float, flow, Sw.
   flyta, D. flyde, L. pluere to rain, Gr. ? to sail, swim,
