Vertiginous \Ver*tig"i*nous\, a. [L. vertiginosus, fr. vertigo a
whirling around, giddiness: cf. F. vertigineux. See
{Vertig??}.]
1. Turning round; whirling; rotary; revolving; as,
vertiginous motion.
