Vacuity \Va*cu"i*ty\, n. [L. vacuitas. See {Vacuous}.]
   1. The quality or state of being vacuous, or not filled;
      emptiness; vacancy; as, vacuity of mind; vacuity of
      countenance.

            Hunger is such a state of vacuity as to require a
