Vaccinate \Vac"ci*nate\, v. t. [imp. & p. p. {Vaccinated}; p.
   pr. & vb. n. {Vaccinating}.] [See {Vaccine}.]
   To inoculate with the cowpox by means of a virus, called
   vaccine, taken either directly or indirectly from cows.
