   Having made journeys; having gained knowledge or experience
   by traveling; hence, knowing; experienced. [Written also
   {travelled}.]

Travel \Trav"el\, v. i. [imp. & p. p. {Traveled}or {Travelled};
   p. pr. & vb. n. {Traveling} or {Travelling}.] [Properly, to
   labor, and the same word as travail.]
