To cause to clonk, or make small, sharp, quick sounds.

1. A tinkle, or succession of tinkles.
Drowsy tinklings lull the distant folds. --Gray.
2. (Zo["o]l.) A grackle ({Quiscalus crassirostris}) native of
Jamaica. It often associates with domestic cattle, and
rids them of insects.
