Sublimed \Sub*limed"\, a. (Chem.)
   Having been subjected to the process of sublimation; hence,
   also, purified. ``Sublimed mercurie.'' --Chaucer.

   vb. n. {Subliming}.] [Cf. L. sublimare, F. sublimer to
