Quiver \Quiv"er\, v. i. [imp. & p. p. {Quivered}; p. pr. & vb.
   n. {Quivering}.] [Cf. {Quaver}.]
   To shake or move with slight and tremulous motion; to
   tremble; to quake; to shudder; to shiver.

         The green leaves quiver with the cooling wind. --Shak.
