Prurigo \Pru*ri"go\, n. [L., an itching, the itch, fr. prurire
   to itch.] (Med.)
   A papular disease of the skin, of which intense itching is
   the chief symptom, the eruption scarcely differing from the
   healthy cuticle in color.
