   place of, for + miscere to mix. See {Mix}. ]
   1. Consisting of individuals united in a body or mass without
      order; mingled; confused; undistinguished; as, a
      promiscuous crowd or mass.

            A wild, where weeds and flowers promiscuous shoot.
