   1. Food; nourishment. [Obs.]

            Toads and frogs his pasture poisonous. --Spenser.

   2. Specifically: Grass growing for the food of cattle; the
      food of cattle taken by grazing.

   3. Grass land for cattle, horses, etc.; pasturage.
