Mutton \Mut"ton\, n. [OE. motoun, OF. moton, molton, a sheep,
wether, F. mouton, LL. multo, by transposition of l fr. L.
mutilus mutilated. See {Mutilate}.]
1. A sheep. [Obs.] --Chapman.
