Livelong \Live"long`\, a. [For lifelong. Cf. {Lifelong}.]
1. Whole; entire; long in passing; -- used of time, as day or
night, in adverbial phrases, and usually with a sense of
tediousness.
The obscure bird Clamored the livelong night.
