{Kissing}.] [OE. kissen, cussen, AS. cyssan, fr. coss a kiss;
of uncertain origin; akin to D. kus, G. kuss, Icel. koss.]
1. To salute with the lips, as a mark of affection,
reverence, submission, forgiveness, etc.
