   Goods that satisfy wants only indirectly as factors in the
   production of other goods, such as tools and raw material; --
   called also {instrumental goods}, {auxiliary goods},
   {intermediate goods}, or {goods of the second and higher
   orders}, and disting. from {consumers' goods}.
