   vb. n. {Inhabiting}.] [OE. enhabiten, OF. enhabiter, L.
   inhabitare; pref. in- in + habitare to dwell. See {Habit}.]
   To live or dwell in; to occupy, as a place of settled
   residence; as, wild beasts inhabit the forest; men inhabit
   cities and houses.
