Grieve \Grieve\ (gr[=e]v), Greeve \Greeve\, n. [AS. ger[=e]fa.
   Cf. {Reeve} an officer.]
   A manager of a farm, or overseer of any work; a reeve; a
   manorial bailiff. [Scot.]
