   p. pr. & vb. n. {Dangling}.] [Akin to Dan. dangle, dial. Sw.
   dangla, Dan. dingle, Sw. dingla, Icel. dingla; perh. from E.
   ding.]
   To hang loosely, or with a swinging or jerking motion.
