Concede \Con*cede"\, v. t. [imp. & p. p. {Conceded}; p. pr. &
   vb. n. {Conceding}.] [L. concedere, concessum; con- + cedere
   to go along, give way, yield: cf. F. conc['e]der. See
   {Cede}.]
   1. To yield or suffer; to surrender; to grant; as, to concede
      the point in question. --Boyle.

   2. To grant, as a right or privilege; to make concession of.

   3. To admit to be true; to acknowledge.
