Cabin \Cab"in\ (k[a^]b"[i^]n), n. [OF. caban, fr. W. caban
   booth, cabin, dim. of cab cot, tent; or fr. F. cabane,
   cabine, LL. cabanna, perh. from the Celtic.]
   1. A cottage or small house; a hut. --Swift.
