   meat, fr. bouillir to boil. See {Boil}, v. The word bouilli
   was formerly commonly used on the labels of canned beef.]
   Pickled or canned beef.

   To intimidate with threats and by an overbearing, swaggering
   demeanor; to act the part of a bully toward.
