Terin \Te"rin\, n. [F. tarin, Prov. F. tairin, t['e]rin,
   probably from the Picard t[`e]re tender.] (Zo["o]l.)
   A small yellow singing bird, with an ash-colored head; the
   European siskin. Called also {tarin}.
