Stove \Stove\, v. t. [imp. & p. p. {Stoved}; p. pr. & vb. n.
   {Stoving}.]
   1. To keep warm, in a house or room, by artificial heat; as,
      to stove orange trees. --Bacon.

   2. To heat or dry, as in a stove; as, to stove feathers.
