Spooney \Spoon"ey\, a.
   Weak-minded; demonstratively fond; as, spooney lovers. [Spelt
   also {spoony.}] [Colloq.]

Spooney \Spoon"ey\, n.; pl. {Spooneye}.
   A weak-minded or silly person; one who is foolishly fond.
