Reck \Reck\, v. t. [imp. & p. p. {Recked}(obs. imp. {Roughte});
   p. pr. & vb. n. {Recking}.] [AS. reccan, r[=e]can, to care
   for; akin to OS. r[=o]kian, OHG. ruochan, G. geruhen, Icel.
   r[ae]kja, also to E. reckon, rake an implement. See {Rake},
   and cf. {Reckon}.]
   1. To make account of; to care for; to heed; to regard.
