Pistache \Pis*tache"\, n. [OE. pistace, fr. F. pistache. See
   {Pistachio}.] (Bot.)
   The anacardiaceous tree {Pistacia vera}, which yields the
   pistachio nut; also, the nut itself and the flavoring extract
   prepared from it.
