Notidanian \No`ti*da"ni*an\, n. [Gr. ? back + ? comely.]
   (Zo["o]l.)
   Any one of several species of sharks of the family
   {Notidanid[ae]}, or {Hexanchid[ae]}. Called also {cow
   sharks}. See {Shark}.
