   1. The quality of being inelegant; want of elegance or grace;
      want of refinement, beauty, or polish in language,
      composition, or manners.

            The notorious inelegance of her figure. --T. Hook.

   2. Anything inelegant; as, inelegance of style in literary
      composition.
