Festivity \Fes*tiv"i*ty\, n.; pl. {Festivities}. [L. festivitas:
   cf. F. festivit['e].]
   1. The condition of being festive; social joy or exhilaration
      of spirits at an entertaintment; joyfulness; gayety.

            The unrestrained festivity of the rustic youth.
