Excrete \Ex*crete"\, v. t. [imp. & p. p. {Excreted}; p. pr. &
   vb. n. {Excreting}.] [L. excretus, p. p. of excernere to sift
   out, discharge; ex out + cernere to sift, separate. See
   {Crisis}.]
   To separate and throw off; to excrete urine. ``The mucus thus
