   Pertaining to the dauphin of France; as, the Delphin
   classics, an edition of the Latin classics, prepared in the
   reign of Louis XIV., for the use of the dauphin (in usum
   Delphini).

   delfi`n.]
   Pertaining to the dolphin, a genus of fishes.
