Danewort \Dane"wort`\, n. (Bot.)
   A fetid European species of elder ({Sambucus Ebulus}); dwarf
   elder; wallwort; elderwort; -- called also {Daneweed},
   {Dane's weed}, and {Dane's-blood}.

         against the Danes.]
