Clang \Clang\, v. t. [imp. & p. p. {Clanged}; p. pr. & vb. n.
   {Clanging}.] [L. clangere; akin to Gr. ? to clash, scream; or
   perh. to E. clank.]
   To strike together so as to produce a ringing metallic sound.
