Cagot \Ca`got"\ (k[.a]`g[-o]"), n. [F.]
   One of a race inhabiting the valleys of the Pyrenees, who
   until 1793 were political and social outcasts (Christian
   Pariahs). They are supposed to be a remnant of the Visigoths.
