Terebic \Te*reb"ic\, a. (Chem.)
   Pertaining to, or obtained from, terbenthene (oil of
   turpentine); specifically, designating an acid, {C7H10O4},
   obtained by the oxidation of terbenthene with nitric acid, as
   a white crystalline substance.
