Thienone \Thi"["e]*none\, n. [Thi["e]nyl + ketone.] (Chem.)
   A ketone derivative of thiophene obtained as a white
   crystalline substance, {(C4H3S)2.CO}, by the action of
   aluminium chloride and carbonyl chloride on thiophene.
