Bocardo \Bo*car"do\, n. [A mnemonic word.]
   1. (Logic) A form of syllogism of which the first and third
      propositions are particular negatives, and the middle term
      a universal affirmative.

            Baroko and Bocardo have been stumbling blocks to the
