Bobolink \Bob"o*link`\, n. (Zo["o]l.)
   An American singing bird ({Dolichonyx oryzivorus}). The male
   is black and white; the female is brown; -- called also,
   {ricebird}, {reedbird}, and {Boblincoln}.

         The happiest bird of our spring is the bobolink. --W.
