Bear's-foot \Bear's"-foot`\ (-f[oo^]t`), n. (Bot.)
   A species of hellebore ({Helleborus f[oe]tidus}), with
   digitate leaves. It has an offensive smell and acrid taste,
   and is a powerful emetic, cathartic, and anthelmintic.
