Acrolith \Ac"ro*lith\, n. [L. acrolthus, Gr. 'akroli`qos with
   the ends made of stone; 'a`kros extreme + li`qos stone.]

   A statue whose extremities are of stone, the trunk being
   generally of wood. --Elmes.
